Royal Rumble event is the one of the important shows alongside with Wrestlemania, Summerslam and Survivor Series. It is one of the Big Four. Why? Because there is Royal Rumble Match. This match is included in 30 men over the top elimination stipulation. Match starts with 2 superstars and a new superstar enters in every 90 minutes until 30 men participate. Superstar is not eliminated until the feet step on the outside of the ring. But the most important in the Royal Rumble match is "Who participates in the match?" rather than match idea.
"Any Return? Any Debut? Any NXT superstar to main roster? or any former superstar shows up?"
With those questions, Royal Rumble match becomes the one of the my favourite match. Maybe the most. After Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble event is worth to wait. But this year's event, which is 29th annual show, all we see nothing but disappointment. Why?
Nowadays, WWE, have had bad days due to injuries. With the injuries, it may become the worst royal rumble match. Look at these names who will not participate! John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins ve Cesaro. The most popular superstars will not be there on the card due to injuries. Those superstars are the ones who we would like to see their winning. Grabbing their belt and enjıy their moment. At least, they will push their best to stay the final four. It seems like that this years royal rumble match is for mid-carders.
Along, Sin Cara's injury (turns to Kalisto's individual push), the serious condition of Tyson Kidd and the uncertanity of Wade Barrett... are in progress.
Not only superstars had injuries but also Divas got injuries: Nikki Bella and Sasha Banks. without The diva version of John Cena, former Diva champion, her sister is crashed viscously. Brie Bella enters the ring always in the losing side like Team B.A.D. Without former NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks, Team B.A.D. is nothing but bullshit. They always lose. So Divas division leads to thce champ Charlotte, Becky, Paige and the return of Natalya.
So, who will win the Royal Rumble Match? Who conquers? Probably, Roman Reings and he will have new record (the longest time in the ring). Or the beast incarnate Brock Lesnar. But personally, I do not want to see their victory. There is a speculation that Triple H will participate in the match but I think he will not make it. For my personal view, my 'the one' who has to prove himself a lot more than anyone is Dolph Ziggler.
